While we wait on the bigger Chrome releases, Topps dropped an early surprise by quietly releasing the odds for 2025 Heritage High.
Even though this is one of the most confusing odds sheets they have ever published, there is still a lot we can learn from it.
The Biggest Change
This release is Hobby only. There are no retail products at all, assuming the odds sheet is accurate. That alone dramatically reduces overall production and that is a very good thing. As a result, this could end up being one of the strongest Heritage High releases in years.
That said, parts of the odds sheet simply do not line up. Several autograph and relic odds are not internally consistent and some combinations cannot be reconciled mathematically. Most of the analysis is still solid, but a small portion of the auto and relic numbers are almost certainly understated. Fortunately, that slice is small enough that the overall production math remains reliable.

2025 Heritage High
Hobby: 74,068 boxes (6,172 cases)
For comparison, one of the strongest Heritage releases in recent memory:

Year over year change: +13.8%
However, 2024 Heritage High also included 5,400 cases of Value Boxes. 2025 has zero retail. That leads to a massive shift in total card output.

Hit Frequencies
Based on published odds, autos plus relics work out to 0.8 hits per box. We know each box contains at least one hit, so Topps has understated these odds by more than 20 percent somewhere. All that can be done is report what the math shows.
Autos should fall approximately 1 in every 4 boxes. A 12 box case should produce 3 to 4 autos, which matches prior years.
